Prologue

I have never known where I was born. Well, that is, where my real mom gave birth to me. Not the one I have now, she isn’t my real mother, though she claims she is, just as my father does. They say I was born in a hospital just out of this village I live now. On the first looks I am a normal boy, normal life, normal friends, girlfriend, go to school and I go out on sports. I am eighteen years old, got a little brother, oh well, a step brother if you ask me, just like these parents. At the sport hall I train my muscle and keep myself in good shape. At school I train my brain, filling it with study, even after school at home, doing my homework. It’s not always like that, I train my mind too, at night, when no one is around to notice me, what makes me different form a normal boy. My parents call me Joshua, on school it’s Josh. Myself? I am called Cyrus, a fire bender.
